In magazines, in shop fronts, what their friends are wearing, what they themselves are dolled up in. And Each season they report back to the blind community in a fashion column within the E publication "Fashionable Eye for the Blind Guy..... & Gal". Thanks to this talented group, they do the looking on your behalf, to assist the young blind community to stay informed with fashion trends, through short articles writing about what they have observed, fashion tips, interviews, and some self designed mix and matches. Thus you can remain looking good, which in turn creates growing confidence and self-esteem. Its not what you ware, but how you feel in them Mission StatementTo continue to provide a high quality, informative and enjoyable free online fashion publication for the blind community. By using our individual talents and circumstances to assist where possible. As we believe, how you feel in your clothes affects your self-esteem, confidence and how you project yourself. We believe that Fashionable Eye for the Blind Guy... & Gal is not only limited to this niche group, but a resource the general public might enjoy. Fashionable eye strives to be a differentiated product, providing a voice from every day people, reflective of all demographics from within our community. Fashionable Eye gives the opportunity for up and coming writers, editors, managers, designers and photographers their initial experience in production before their discovered. And we are dedicated to continue identifying and maturing developing talent before they leave us for bigger and greener pastures. Over the short-term, Fashionable Eye looks to expand its reader base, both sighted and blind; Improving efficient work structures; return on investment and creation of revenue through sponsorships; and lastly, the satisfying remuneration of writers and support crew. We intend to build up sound functional structures, that Fashionable Eye would continue to inform and alert all, long into the future. |
