Welcome to Summer! Merry Christmas! Happy New year! Kung Hei Fat Choi! It’s fantastic to have a chance to welcome you to a new season, wish you and your family a Merry Christmas, and to usher in a new year! Not to mention welcome you back to another edition of Fashionable Eye,a magazine for everyday people.
I have to admit, today's summers aren't as predictable as they used to be. In the past they were just hot. Now their extremely hot, or extremely not for summer standards. But don't worry, we will work hard to keep you dressed appropriately and looking good throughout this undecided season.
The past few months has been an adapting period for me, from starting a Masters (so I had to dress more appropriately for those settings), starting a limited duration internship (so now I had to pull off the corporate look), and now I'm going overseas for a white Christmas (so in summer I had to track down a winter worthy jacket). So my fashion shopping experience was definitely a little out of the ordinary. How has your own shopping experiences been?
This season's absolute highlights are articles by Steph Lau- “90 Days of Summer”, “ipod & I” by Dawson Ko and “I Wear, Therefore I Am” by Tina Nguyen. While we're very pleased to welcome first time Fashionable Eye writers Katie Preston and Nicole Barron, who give Fashionable Eye even more firepower in 2010 and beyond!
