A word from the editor

Shorter days, chilly winds and yellowing leaves mark the start of autumn. Hey, and welcome back to another edition of Fashionable Eye for the Blind Guy.... & Gal! The home of your FREE online fashion magazine.

The month of February is behind us, which marked a horrific summer season in Australia, namely Victoria Australia, where 40+ temps fuelled bush fires which claimed many lives, while across the border in Sydney we saw a week of rain. Thankfully, the start of autumn has seen more predictable temperatures but we trust the fluctuations to re-emerge. So stick with us, and our qualified fashionistas will give you timely advice to assist you to dress appropriately in autumn '09.

Unfortunately in the current financial and social climate, we have experienced a substantial amount of doom and gloom in the past months. And it has hit us all where it hurts. So my shopping list with my must-have items for this season is almost non-existent, and I think this is the same for many others as well. However, our Fashionable Eye's have kept this in mind. You'll find this season's articles keep the encouragement of materialism to a minimum, while majority of the articles are simply informative and interesting reads containing timely fashion tips, interesting topics for all fashion enthusiasts.

As you may have noticed, Fashionable Eye is now published at the start of the season, thus visiting our pages, we will be the first to let you know what is IN for Autumn. And I'm always surprised how Fashionable Eye manages to attract and recruit new writers to our fold season after season.
